Following release, the individual may remain subject to supervision, legal obligations, and a probationary period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\udd39\u00a0<strong>Replacement of the Unserved Portion of a Sentence with a Lighter Punishment<\/strong><br \/>\nThe remaining term of imprisonment may be replaced with a less severe penalty prescribed by law. The individual may leave the penitentiary institution, while continuing to serve the sentence in another legally prescribed form.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\udccc Each case is assessed individually.
